Skills and expertise
Nick is an ecologist with over 5 years’ experience working in consultancy. He is an all-round ecologist with experience in a wide range of botanical and protected species surveys. He is a licence holder for great crested newts, hazel dormouse and barn owl, completes BREEAM and CfSH assessments, acts as an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) and provides advice and reporting to inform Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRA). In addition to his typical duties conducting surveys and completing technical reports, Nick also supports the team with GIS, CAD and Indesign software packages.
Botany and protected species.
Following the completion of his MSc, Nick’s first professional role was a placement with Scott Wilson. He then worked for several environmental consultancies before joining The Landmark Practice as an Ecologist in 2013.
