Ian joined the Landmark Practice in June 2020, after having previously completed a couple of seasons working freelance in the ecology sector.  He has experience in a range of habitat and protected species surveys, and is keen to build on this, working on diverse and interesting projects as part of the Landmark Practice team.

Career summary

Ian completed a degree in Palaeobiology and Evolution at the University of Portsmouth before travelling and working as a carer for several years. Looking for a career change, he trained in ecological consultancy and gained experience working freelance before starting at The Landmark Practice.
