Skills and expertise

Richard is an ecologist with more than ten years’ experience working in consultancy. He has managed numerous high profile projects, from initial scoping through to implementation of mitigation and monitoring. He has managed and delivered ecological inputs on a wide range of development projects including nationally significant infrastructure projects, renewable energy schemes, large scale commercial projects and strategic urban extensions.

Specialist interest

Ecologically sensitive scheme design and protected species ecology (Bat, Dormouse and Great Crested Newt licence holder).

Career summary

Richard has gained broad experience working for both large multidisciplinary organisations and smaller specialist consultancy firms in Southern England and Wales. He began his career working for Andrew McCarthy Associates (now SLR) in Exeter. Most recently Richard spent 3 years working with the Environmental Dimensions Partnership Ltd. before joining Landmark in 2016.
