Kristina has over 5 years’ experience working in the ecology consultancy sector, working for both smaller and larger consultancies. She has worked on a variety of projects from small scale residential and commercial developments to large scale projects, including solar farms, wind turbines and large infrastructure projects. She has extensive experience in protected species and habitat surveying and production of a wide range of ecological reports including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and reports, Landscape and Ecological Management Plans, Construction Ecological Management Plans, Biodiversity Enhancement Plans and protected species survey reports.

Career summary

On completion of a degree in Conservation Biology, Kristina gained work experience on several conservation and community-based education projects overseas. Kristina then chose to combine her interest in education and the environment and trained as a secondary school science teacher. After several years in the education sector, she decided to pursue a career in ecology and went on to work as a seasonal ecologist prior to joining The Landmark Practice (TLP) in 2021. After a short break exploring corporate ecology sector she rejoined TLP in 2026.

BSc (Hons) Conservation Biology (University of Surrey).

PGCE Secondary Science with Biology (Kingston University).

Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (ACIEEM).
