Since 2012, Sam has worked as a consultant ecologist delivering ecology work for a variety of private and public sector clients for a wide range of projects and particularly enjoys residential developments. Sam considers herself a generalist and is skilled in ecological impact assessments, including those supporting EIA and other reports as well as enjoying business development.

Impact assessments, ecology/biodiversity planning policy and its implementation, dormice and biodiversity net gain.
Career summary
On completion of her MSc placement in a consultant ecology team in 2012, Sam decided it was the career for her, amazed that she could be paid to do this job. Having worked for various consultancies at different sizes, Sam joined the Landmark Practice in January 2024.
