We’re delighted to announce that two schemes we’ve been involved with on behalf of our client Strongvox Homes have recently been given Planning Approval.  This will see the delivery of 109 new homes at Cricketer Farm, Nether Stowey in Sedgemoor; and 27 new homes at Newcourt Road, Topsham near Exeter.   It is always a pleasure to work with Strongvox and we value their continued commitment to delivering quality housing schemes.

Cricketer Farm, Nether Stowey

This development presents a fantastic opportunity to redevelop a series of vacant barns, buildings and hard standing adjacent to the high quality Nether Stowey Conservation Area, with its distinctive Listed Buildings including Stowey Court, St Mary’s Church with 15th century tower and 18th century gazebo.  The site forms part of the setting to the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), which forms the backdrop to the village of Nether Stowey.
The Landmark Practice produced a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and Landscape Masterplan to accompany the Full Planning Application for 109 dwellings with associated infrastructure and landscape.  Full Planning Approval was granted 29th October 2020. Further project details can be found on our website portfolio pages.

Newcourt Road, Topsham

Located north of Newcourt Road in Topsham, this scheme will deliver 27 new homes and a central open space created with dwellings arranged around it creating a focal point for the development.   The open space is designed to maximise amenity and nature conservation value incorporating native hedgerow planting, an attenuation pond, wildflower meadows, tree planting, footpath and seating. The Landmark Practice provided a Landscape Masterplan to accompany the Full Planning Application, which received Approval 22nd October 2020.
