About Us

An award winning team

The Landmark Practice is a Landscape Institute (LI) and CIEEM Registered Practice, with all staff being members of relevant professional bodies including ISEP, CIEEM, LI, and SocEnv. We are certified under SMAS, SafeContractor, and Achilles, and accredited through the Green Accord Corporate Social Responsibility scheme.

Over the years, our work has been recognised through a number of awards and accreditations. In 2020, we were finalists with Habitat First Group in the Landscape Institute’s Building with Nature Award. The following year, our work at The Lower Mill Estate received a UK Property Award for Landscape Architecture, and in 2022, the Silverlake development was honoured under the same category. That same year, our Oakfield project in Swindon received the Building with Nature Award at the Landscape Institute Awards, where the Seabank Community Wind Turbine was also shortlisted for Excellence in Sustainable Infrastructure.

More recently, in 2025, Seabank was awarded the Regen Green Energy Award. Mulberry Park received recognition for Landscape Architecture both regionally and at the European level at the International Property Awards, and Collaton Park achieved a Building with Nature ‘Full’ Award accreditation.

How we work.

Our approach is underpinned by our high quality standard. This includes investing time in understanding the client brief, rigorous evaluation, high quality design that integrates sustainable principles and readily accessible reporting, visualisations, and presentations.

We thrive on devising realistic, cost-effective and innovative measures and designs that mitigate adverse impacts of development. We guarantee quality by ensuring that all projects are managed by an expert Principal Consultant, supported by an experienced and highly qualified team.

The Landmark Practice has been highly effective in supporting planning applications and construction for these [DIO solar PV] sites. We have benefitted from their experience, their adherence to deadlines and their ability to complete high quality work whilst engaging with inhouse SMEs and stakeholders effectively. We are grateful for their excellent contribution.
